What do Self Study Units consist of?

This is a brief reference of how the 10 units that belong to the course have been structured.

Welcome : You get to know what you will be able to do when you finish the unit.
Let’s start: This section activates your previous vocabulary and general knowledge about the topic of the unit.
What is it about? : You are exposed to a video or a recording which contextualizes the vocabulary, grammar and functions you learn in the unit
Vocabulary: You increase your vocabulary needed for the unit topic.
Language in Use: You will learn how to build sentences, learn set phrases and tips about language use.
Listening: Different listening activities with different speakers.
Pronunciation: Lots of pronunciation practice of the new words presented in the lesson.
Reading: You will enjoy reading activities related to the topics deal with in the unit.
Consolidation: Vocabulary, functions and grammar revision
Summing up: a summary of what you can do at the end of the unit
